Howdy Northern Colorado A&M Club,
My name is Megan Pol, and I am a student on the Texas A&M Solar Car Racing Team. We are currently looking for locations that will accommodate our team as we participate in the American Solar Challenge, a cross-country endurance race held every other summer for collegiate solar car teams to compete in. This year, the competition will begin in Nashville, TN and end in Casper, WY.
Our team was wondering if your Northern Colorado A&M Club in Berthoud, CO might be able to accommodate us the night of July 28th? More specifically, we are looking for a place to spend the night, particularly indoors.
Our group is composed of 15 college students as well as two faculty from Texas A&M University. As a student organization, your club’s support would greatly help smooth our journey and participation in an event that showcases STEM education/sustainability/the Aggie spirit across the country.
If your club is not able to help provide us with accommodations, we would greatly appreciate any recommendations or resources you might have for finding accommodations in that local area.
